We're girly girls. So it's ok. Sometimes we're alone way too long and we get bored. We have a camera. We have a blog. And fans. This is what ensued. (I know they're a little messy, but hey, you try painting a 3mth old's toenails..even when they're asleep it's still hard)

Carleigh is learning how to grasp things, and that sometimes it leads to thing she is grasping will come to her mouth! This morning, I was helping her grasp her chain 'o toys, and her eyes got SO wide as the chain 'o toys started coming towards her mouth, then into her mouth, and VOILA ! Chewing on it starts. That's my C ! If you look closely, you can see she's grasping not only her chain 'o toys, but also her spit-up rag...heh

Elusive Smile

So, C's a sneaky one she is. She woke up in a fantastic mood, busting out smiles. So I grabbed my camera in hopes of capturing a smile. Right. The one I did get I chopped half her head off. But hey, I got the smile !

Crazy House

So, sometimes our house (well, all the time) our house is like a zoo.

For instance, C and I are playing in the kitchen (mostly for my amusement)

The first game - My old Lambchop dolly was singing to C

The second game - Blowing raspberries on C's feet to the tune of "Mary Had a Litte Lamb"

C loved that, well, I think she liked her feet getting all slobbery more than than the actual raspberries. She's throwing out more smiles now, not quite so stingy with them !

This is a very important occasion ! Carleigh (and Sara) slept through the entire night!

Our very first night where C didn't ask for her usually 3-4am bottle!

Mommy got an entire, uninterrupted night of sleep!

I did kind of miss our middle of the night party though.

Summer Fun !

Summer is upon us! June 21 is the first day of summer officially. However, C is already rockin it Texas style since it's HOT.

C's Tuesday

C Update

Tuesday morning arrived all sunny and hot. Daddy loaded C up in the truck and trekked their way to the doctor for....C's first set of shots !

Daddy reported back to mommy that she got three total, one in her right leg and two in her left.

She now weighs 10.5lbs at 2.5 months and is 21.5 inches tall ! Woohoo ! She's growing !

The BG Trial

So the Trial commenced, everybody was in place. The Judge was in pink, refusing to wear black of course. The Jurors were in their box, attentively listening to the defendant's pleas of innocence.

The Verdict : Not guilty of course...it's our mommy ! It's her right as our mommy to be able to maim all our house plants (so as long as she doesn't touch daddy's garden it's ok)

Bad Weather

C checking in here after a night of stormy weather. It got so windy here, it blew my pants and shirt almost right off ! We got a picture just for documentation of the event. I was pretty sure I would get to see my first tornado, daddy even cleared out the closet for a hidey-hole in case we needed to duck-n-cover. Mommy missed the big event, she was at work, making me some milk money.

Bow-Head

In keeping with tradition, C too will be a "Bow-Head". Since I had heartburn that radiated down to my kneecaps, proving the theory that heartburn results in babies with a headfull of hair, I started the tradition a little early with C, since she has a TON of hair.

C's Log: Day 6
Subject : Mommy
Mommy's aim is terrible. I'm amazed Daddy lets her drive,walk,talk, or even feed the Bo's ! We're on the couch, eating some milk, and the mommy decides it's medicine time. Because we all know a little milk makes the medicine go down.

I don't think much made it down the hatch, but I think mommy figured it out. Good thing medicine was the color of my dress...and it tastes like bubblegum! My first real food experience besides milk and I get bubblegum ! Yippee!! I hope baby-food tastes this good...do they make bubblegum flavored b-food?

Get Well Soon C!

Daddy took C to the doctor Friday.
Our baby has her first ear infection !
She's still just as happy as ever,but C's taking a mini-break from blogging while she recuperates, so mommy's in charge of blogging for a day or two until she's back to her normal self.
To all C's followers : She says kisses and hugs and she'll be back soon with all new stories!

Arm-rest Cow

There has been some inappropriate use of toys going on in our house apparently. C was busted in the act of using the poor cow as an arm rest.

He had been cow tipped, and she had manuevered him into her own little personal arm rest !

I don't believe that was the intended use of her peek-a-boo cow rattle.

Next stop: Finding a bouncy chair that has arm-rests built in.

Daddy's Little Girl

C's got this new thing where when Mike comes into the room, she'll give him the biggest, open-mouthed grin I have EVER seen. I am SOOOO jealous!! However, it made me think of this poem/story that I heard one time.

A baby asked God, "They tell me You are sending me to Earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
God said, "Your angels will be there waiting for you and will take care of you."
The baby then asked "Who will protect me?"
God said, "Your angels will defend you even if it means risking their lives."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked , "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

God said, "You will simply call them Mommy and Daddy."

C and Me

So C and I had this conversation, that she might be addicted to blogging.

But she said that I was the one addicted to blogging.

But then P.Bo interjected and said we were both addicted and proved her point.

Subject: Baby Garlic

..."Subject appears to have taken root and is now sprouting. Minimal water and sunlight seems to not affect the Baby Garlic (from here known as the "BG"). The mommy was quite surprised that BG was still alive. Me, even more surprised. The Council of Bo's and I had a meeting of minds to discuss the BG and it's superior will to live against all odds of the mommy's supposedly "green" thumb. Our ending thoughts : IT'S ALIVE !!..."
